Day 01 :
Arrival in Addis Ababa & City Tour

Arrive in Addis Ababa, where you will be greeted by your guide and begin a half-day city tour. Visit the National Museum to see the famous fossil Lucy and explore the Ethnological Museum to learn about Ethiopia’s diverse cultures. Enjoy panoramic views from Mount Entoto and visit local markets for a taste of the city’s vibrancy. Afterward, relax and rest up for the next day’s adventures.Overnight in Addis Ababa.

Day 02 :
Fly to Gondar and Drive to Simien Mountains

In the morning, take a flight from Addis Ababa to Gondar (1 hour), then drive to the Simien Mountains (approximately 2.5 hours). The Simien Mountains offer stunning landscapes with deep valleys, rugged cliffs, and alpine meadows, making it a photographer’s paradise. Capture the dramatic scenery, including the famous Ethiopian wolves and Gelada baboons that roam the area. Settle into your lodge and enjoy the highland atmosphere in the evening.

Day 03 :
Exploring the Simien Mountains

Spend the day exploring the Simien Mountains National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its diverse wildlife and breathtaking vistas. Upon arrival, drive to Dinsho, the headquarters of Bale Mountains National Park (2-3 hours), home to rare wildlife and endemic species. The park is known for its scenic beauty and wildlife diversity, including Bale monkeys and the Ethiopian wolf. Settle into your lodge and prepare for an exciting day of wildlife exploration.

Day 05 :
Sanetti Plateau Exploration

Today, explore the Sanetti Plateau, one of the highest and most scenic areas in the Bale Mountains, known for its endemic species like the Ethiopian wolf and highland birds. The plateau’s moorland and alpine ecosystems are home to a range of unique species, including the Giant Molerat and endemic birds such as the Blue-winged Goose. Return to your lodge for the night.

Day 06 :
Drive to Harena Forest

This dense, tropical forest is home to a variety of mammals, including baboons, bushbucks, and a large variety of bird species. Day 07 :
Drive to Awash National Park

After breakfast, drive north towards Awash National Park, located in Ethiopia's semi-arid lowlands (5-6 hours). This park is known for its hot springs, volcanic landscapes, and diverse wildlife, including buffaloes, giraffes, and waterbucks. The area is also home to numerous bird species, such as African Fish Eagles and Secretary Birds, making it a great place for wildlife and bird photography. Day 08 :
Llala Plains and Alideghe Wildlife

The plains are home to large herds of antelope, including Oryx and Grant’s gazelles, as well as predators such as cheetahs and hyenas. Day 09 :
Return to Bale Goba and Fly to Addis Ababa
